Fifty Shades of Grey is basically porn for women, in a book, and not a regular porn site that most guys go to. So why is this book, and now movie getting such mixed reviews? Is it because of the way that the main character, Anastasia Steele, is treated by Christian Grey? A rich, twenty something who is rich, handsome and basically forces her to accept what he does to her for cheap passion and not true love, like she wants? Well, it depends on what you want to accept, which in this case, this is my opinion, this is what I believe, and I am going to share it with those who read or comment, suck it up Cupcake.
The book is trash, written in a way that makes most women who read it, want a creepy young, rich guy perverting them in all sorts of ways. The books sold so much to the female gender that I know this as a fact, about twenty percent to guys though, but whatever. Yes I read the book, so don't get your panties in a twist, and try to call me out with your bullshit. Look, the book is basically saying that women are into fantasies so much that they want this in their daily lives, which is why a movie was made. This isn't about love, it's about someone dominating someone else because they want to feel powerful inside, even though that's how most of the government works and we just go, "Uhhh, whatever.." Damn it people, wake up! People want love, we are wired for love, but we pervert it in so many ways that we confuse lust for love! I love my girlfriend Kristin, even though things have been rough in the past.But I made mistakes because I was allowing myself to confuse love with what my dick wanted.
Was that right? No, it's not, but so many times we as human beings allow our baser instincts to take over. S&M isn't relaxing, it's based on how much you can sexually and mentally degrade someone, and it gets deeper and deeper each time you do it. Pretty soon, your going to find yourself not caring who the next master, mistress, or pet is, and just getting off by doing what you want. Sure there are safe words, to stop, but this isn't going to stop a really sexually aggressive individual. Just like the sweet Ana in the movie, she starts out by being a virgin before meeting Christian, after that she allows herself to go along with whats he wants because she is romantically in love with him, and goes along with what he wants because she is.
People are different by nature, some people thrive on the stupid power tricks that exist only because we want people above us to tell us what to do, to give guidance when we feel lost, etc. But, what the Hell!? When does sex that degrades another person, become fun? "Oh man, ya, um, use that whip on me, insert a gag ball, tie me up, hit me, step on me, make me do things that I wouldn't normally do..." -Facepalms- Yes, there is a difference between reality and fantasy, but so many times that line becomes so damn blurred that we allow movies to be made that show sex and humiliation holding hands. I'm not against sex being fun, sex is fun, period. It's what allows us to show another person in our life to look at us with our guard down, showing them everything that was given to you at birth. But, when you take it to where you want to degrade your partner, no matter who it is, then you should realize that it's no longer about love. "Baby, I love you so much.." -Whips their back and drips candle wax down their legs slowly.- Oh ya, love is about hitting someone for sure.. #Sarcasm.
I'm sorry this went on for so long, and I thank you if you did happen to read most of it, but this is my opinion. This is what I believe, I know people that live on the planet Earth have opinions about everything, no matter what.. But if you take away anything from this rant, please, take away that love is about wanting to be there for your significant other, and that you are willing to love them through anything.
